1. Ola S1 and S1 Pro
Ola Electric has officially revealed the prices for its first electric scooter, the S1, which comes in two models: S1 and S1 Pro. The zero-emission scooter is priced at Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 1,21,999 (ex-showroom), respectively, and has EMI choices as low as Rs. 2,999. The top-spec model has a stated range of 181 km in IDC circumstances and a top speed of 115 kmph.
2. Ather 450X
The Ather 450X electric scooter is the successor to the 450 scooter, and it starts at Rs. 1.13 lakh for the Plus model and goes up to Rs. 1.32 lakh for the top-of-the-line model (ex-showroom). The 450X is powered by a 3.3 kW/6 kW (continuous/peak) motor with 26 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds and 0-60 kmph in 6.5 seconds, with a claimed range of 116 kilometres.
3. Simple One
It's no surprise that the major competitor to the Ola S1 electric scooter, Simple One, launched on the domestic market on the same day with official pricing. The Bengaluru-based firm Simple Energy's e-scooter is priced reasonably at Rs. 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and can travel 236 kilometres on a single charge in Eco mode. It will be distributed in phases, with 13 states initially on the radar.
4. Bajaj Chetak Electric
Bajaj Auto released its first electric scooter in January 2020, and the Urbane and Premium models cost Rs. 1.42 lakh and Rs. 1.44 lakh, respectively. It is named after the company's classic 'Chetak' scooter and is equipped with a 3.8 kW/4.1 kW (continuous/peak power) electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack that provides a range of 95 kilometres in Eco mode and 85 kilometres in Sport mode.
